BOYS' HOCKEY NI FINALS
The hockey team had a great day at the NI Finals on Monday and performed extremely well throughout.
We were placed in a tough group but the boys were up for the challenge.
The results were;
- King’s Park 0 – 0 Harmony Hill
- King’s Park 2 – 0 Abbey
- King’s Park 1 – 0 Cookstown
- King’s Park 2 – 0 Antrim
- King’s park 0 – 1 Inchmarlo
These results meant that we finished as group runner ups and progressed to the next round of the cup competition!
We were then placed in another group to see who would progress to the semi-finals.
The results were;
- King’s Park 0 – 1 Donaghey
- King’s Park 0 – 0 Strandtown
Unfortunately, this meant that we didn’t reach the semi-finals. However, everyone should be extremely proud of their efforts throughout and exceeded all expectations by placing in the top 10 schools in the country! A massive achievement!
