Charity Day Report
£9000 RAISED!
King's Park PS recently held a "Break The Rules" charity day where all pupils Nursery-P7 were sponsored to break some chosen school rules. These rules included; wearing full school uniform, having a normal hairstyle, doing homework, completing a Friday test. Children enjoyed coming to school in normal clothes, having crazy hairstyles, receiving a homework pass for a night off homework, having extra playtime. Even the teachers and classroom assistants got involved in the fun.
The charities that we are collecting for are; The Cancer Fund for Children, Angel Wishes, Reach Team and the Alzheimer's Society.
The Angel Wishes is a local charity that supports children with cancer and their families by providing them with treats and days out.
The Reach Team is a mentoring organisation for young people.
