Curriculum

Whilst the Northern Ireland Curriculum is laid down as a largely subject-based curriculum, it must be recognised that life and learning are not really like this.  In order to ensure cohesion in delivering the curriculum, cross-curricular themes and topic work are held to be of considerable practical importance.  Furthermore, if such 'wholeness' in presentation is to be achieved then good communications, both vertically and horizontally throughout the school, must be encouraged and developed at all levels.   With the revised Northern Ireland Curriculum currently being implemented across the school an increased emphasis will be placed on the uniqueness of our community in drawing up the yearly programme.
