The competition is open to children of all ages. Make your design is space-themed and let your imaginations run wild! Perhaps draw Santa delivering presents to the International Space Station or maybe even another planet.

How does the competition work?
The competition is taking place in schools around the country and through the Planetarium’s website (www.armaghplanet.com/events). All entries need to be in by Monday 30th November 2015. The winning designs will then be chosen by our judging panel.
Theme of the competition:
All designs need to be themed around Space and Christmas. They can be traditional, modern or humorous – the more variety the better.

Instructions:
• Children should draw their spacey Christmas design on A4 paper, either landscape or portrait.
• Felt tips, colouring pencils or crayons can be used. Computer generated images can be utilised as well.
• Somewhere on the front of your picture display your name and age. On the back of your picture write the name and address of your school.
• Send designs to your teacher

The prize:
There will be one overall lucky winner who will win a trip to the Planetarium for their class and a special individual prize for themselves. Five runners up will win family tickets for a free trip to the Planetarium. We will also display all the entries here at the Armagh Planetarium to spread some Christmas cheer.
