September/October

We had great fun outside today on our Autumn hunt!

We used leaves to make a lovely Autumn hedgehog.

Have a look at our lovely pictures we made using leaves.

We made some clay hedgehogs. Look how spiky they are.

We have been using our conkers to create some lovely pictures by dipping them in paint and rolling them. It was great fun.

We have been using our vegetables to make some soup. We had to cut them up nice and small.

We are learning all about different types of vegetables this week. The children got to hold and feel the different types of vegetables they had brought in and then we used some peppers today to make patterns.

We were so excited to finally get to cut up our fuiut and to taste lots of different fruits that we haven't had before!

We created a pictogram of our favourite fruit. We made some spooky number 4's.

We have been busy painting our fruit today. We had to look carefully at the colour and shape before we started. We also ended the day with our first PE session inside.

Fruit week. Look at all the lovely fruit we have brought in. We used it to make patterns and for sorting. We have been learning all about 's' sound too.

We enjoyed staying for school dinners and pack lunches for the first time. Today we were writing number 3's using chalk on the fence in our playground.

We are learning all about the number 3 this week.

We have been writing lots of number 2's today and thinking about things we would find at the seaside.

Look at our lovely patterned flip flops ready for the beach. We have been learning more about number 2 and today we painted them.

We have been painting lots of waving waves and adding some boats on to them today. This morning we shared our Weekend News and practiced writing the numbers 1 and 2.

We have been learning about number 1 this week. Today we painted some clouds and number 1 rain drops. We have also been working lots with scissors today.

Our first day in P1.
