Welcome to latest news
Congratulations to King’s Park Girls’ cross country team who are the Northern Ireland Champions for the second year in a row. Having comfortably won the Area League, they were hoping for a good showing at Mallusk. They found it hard going over the 1400m course but a strong team effort saw them into first place.
The Boys’ team, having narrowly won the Area League and with the pressure of having won the finals in the two previous years, were always going to find it tough to maintain this performance in Northern Ireland finals. They gave their best and despite an early injury to Joel Todd, ran into a 4th place.
Best placed girls were Kate Holmes (P7) who was narrowly pipped into 3rd place and Ellie Cousins who was 11th.
All pupils in our school, from Nursery to P7 will be involved in our Annual Charity Event. Our sponsored charity this year will be called "Glow for It!"
This event will take place on WEDNESDAY 21ST MARCH (please note change of date from that listed in February Bulletin). Monies raised will go towards our selected charities. Sponsor forms will be sent home with every child. Further details of the event and the charities involved will follow.
Stanley Abraham, on behalf of Howard Abraham Motors, presents the King’s Park Boys’ and Girls’ Cross Country teams with their new hoodies. The boys won the Southern Area League for the last 4 seasons in and the girls have won it for the last 3 seasons.
