King's Park Whole School

We have started a brand new blog for all of our pupils to enjoy. It will be updated regularly with lots of fun physical activities that you can do at home. You can also leave a comment to let us know how you get on with the activities.

In these difficult days that we find ourselves in, we would like to share some hope and positivity throughout our school community.

Each week we will invite pupils to create some artwork on a given theme. Parents/guardians are then invited to take a photo of the child’s artwork and email it to kpmessagesofhope@gmail.com. This email address will only be used for the collection of artwork - all other questions should be directed to the contact forms on the year pages of the website.

We will then post as much artwork as possible on the ‘Messages of Hope’ page on the school website.

The first theme is ‘Rainbows’, as this has been a commonly used symbol of hope in our community over the past few weeks. The artwork can be in any style -drawing, painting, papercraft etc. Also, we would like to point out that this is an entirely optional activity!

We look forward to seeing lots of lovely artwork! Remember to check back next Friday for a new theme!

Positive Mental Health and Wellbeing- The current situation that we find ourselves in is unlike anything that most of us will have experienced before. At times like this it is not only important to consider physical health but also mental health of both pupils and parents. On this page you will find some useful tips and activities to help promote positive mental health and wellbeing among adults and children alike- follow the link above.
