Although you were given creative writing booklets, this should not limit the length of your story writing. Please, from now on - use the booklet to plan your writing and complete your finished draft into the literacy book you were given in your pack.

Remember: a myth is a traditional, ancient story/folktale passed down through generations which will normally tell the tale of how things came to be or why something is the way it is!
Examples: Irish myths include: Finn McCool and Fairies; Greek myths include: Hercules and Pandora's Box; Roman myths include: Jupiter and the Bee and Romulus and Remus.

WILF (What I am looking for)
- Choose (or make up) an ancient civilisation
- Choose from (or make up) one of the prompts for writing your myth.
- Follow the mythical story planner to help structure your story.
- Include paragraphs in your writing with a clear beginning, middle and end.
- Creativity in your writing, the use of adjectives, adverbs, similes etc
- This task should be at least three paragraphs (7 to 8 lines each long).
