Wednesday/ Thursday - Writing Task
Although you were given creative writing booklets, this should not limit the length of your story writing. Please, from now on - use the booklet to plan your writing and complete your finished draft into the literacy book you were given in your pack.
This week your writing task is to create a "myth" or "legend" from an ancient civilisation of your choice. Examples of ancient civilisations
Learn more about these ancient civilisations by watching the videos below.
Remember: a myth is a traditional, ancient story/folktale passed down through generations which will normally tell the tale of how things came to be or why something is the way it is!
Examples: Irish myths include: Finn McCool and Fairies; Greek myths include: Hercules and Pandora's Box; Roman myths include: Jupiter and the Bee and Romulus and Remus.
