November

We are now in the month of November!

This month, we will be continuing to explore the season of Autumn, and we will be starting to explore a new topic called ‘Wild Animals’!

We will be learning about wild animals through our play, story time, songs and rhymes and class discussions during community time.

Throughout this month we will be taking part in special activities and events such as Anti-Bullying Week, participating in a visit from Jo Jingles, helping to reconstruct our minibeast hotels with the help from staff from Oxford Island, wearing our own clothes on Children in Need Day, and getting our photographs taken by a photographer!

We enjoyed putting our Christmas tree up in Nursery 3 today.

Today we enjoyed celebrating Children in Need. We got to wear our own clothes to Nursery.

We enjoyed a wonderful visit from Oxford Island staff! They talked to us about different minibeasts that we might find in our gardens. Then, using the bottles we had brought in, as well as cardboard and sticks, we created new bedrooms for our minibeast hotels. They now look very fancy and are the perfect place for the minibeasts in our Nursery gardens to have a sleep! Finally, we went on a little minibeast hunt to find some minibeasts!

We enjoyed learning more about Autumn time through a very fun visit from Jo Jingles!

We wore odd socks to Nursery to mark the beginning of Anti-Bullying week

We all enjoyed wearing our odd socks to Nursery to mark the beginning of anti-bullying week. We talked today about how, like our socks, we are all different but we are all very special! We are unique!
