VE Day

P5 had a fantastic day celebrating the 80th Anniversary of VE Day. We came to school dressed up in red, white and blue or an evacuee, and everyone looked fabulous! Our first activity was a whole school assembly outside where we got a special treat and watched doves fly off from our school. Then, it was off to Lurgan Park for a picnic in the sun, we even had a WW2 inspired snack. We finished of our day playing games that children would have played during WW2.
