In Nursery, the children have access to a vast selection of art resources each day. Through these activities, the children can develop their creativity and imagination.

The children are given topical visual aids to help give them a focus when drawing.

Using whiteboard markers and white boards to practice mark making.

The children learn the art routine...remembering an apron, symbol and page!

Painting at the easel to make a lion for the wild animal topic. 🦁

Using junk art resources to make a tiger. 🐅

Using glitter to decorate a beautiful snowflake. ❄️

Making play dough and learning about the ingredients used.

Playing with dough to practice squeezing, pushing and rolling.

Conker rolling art activity using autumnal colours.

Adding more details to a jolly snowman. ⛄️

Using clay and matchsticks to make a little hedgehog for our Autumn display. 🦔

Printing using different square objects to help consolidate their learning of shapes.

Making different patterns such as spots and stripes.

Proudly displaying a lovely piece of art!

Photos of the children’s art work are shared with parents via Dojo regularly.

We don’t always use paint brushes! We love messy art! 🎨

The children love using chalk to draw outdoors on the ground.

The children also love colouring in!
