December

December is a very exciting month in Nursery as we prepare for and take part in lots of festive activities!

This month we will be exploring the topics of Winter and Christmas through our play and community time learning. We are looking forward to taking part in the Daily Mile Santa Run, enjoying our Christmas dinner and having a class Christmas party! We will also be learning lots of Christmas and winter songs during community time!

This month we will be focusing on the colours of red, gold and silver, and learning to recognise and name the shape, triangle! 

We were all very excited to meet Santa in Nursery and sing his favourite song, Jingle Bells, with him!

We all enjoyed our delicious Christmas dinner!

With such cold weather, we enjoyed some yummy hot chocolate for our snack!

Jo Jingles and Jen came for a Christmas visit. We had great fun singing and moving to the music and playing our bells.

We had a great time getting all dressed up in Christmas items for our Santa Mile today.

We are learning about winter time and Christmas through our play!

We are developing lots of important skills through our play!

We are learning through our play outdoors!

We love to play outside! We are developing lots of important skills, as well as our self-esteem and confidence!
