This month we will be exploring the very exciting topic of ‘People Who Help Us’!
We will be learning about people who help us at home, in school and in the local community, for example, teachers, doctors, dentists, police officers, hairdressers. We will be learning about these people who help us through our play, Community Time learning and hopefully through some special visitors in to Nursery.
We will also be exploring the final signs of Winter as we observe snowdrops and enjoy painting and drawing pictures of them in our art area.
This month we will be providing opportunities for the boys and girls to continue to develop their fine and gross motor skills, as well as their independence, by encouraging them to try and zip and unzip their own coats.
We will also be celebrating Valentines Day and Pancake Tuesday before our half term holidays.
We had lots of fun during outdoor play! The sun came out and we enjoyed playing in the mud kitchen, developing skills of balance and co-ordination, playing on the scooters, with the bark and with the wheeled vehicles.
