Fruit Tuck Shop! We used our 30p to buy a healthy fruit from King's Parks Fruit Tuck Shop!
Snowdrops! We used chalk to create snowdrops at the art area.
Celebrating Valentines Day!
Bird Hunt! This morning we took our binoculars to hunt for birds around our school grounds. We had to be very quiet and careful so we didn't scare the birds! We saw lots of birds including, crows, seagulls, robins, pigeons, blackbirds and willie wagtails!
We made binoculars! Before we go on our bird hunt, we made bincoluars out of kitchen roll tubes! We painted them camoflage colours to help us blend in with our surroundings when we go for our bird hunt!
Muga Time! We had a great time down at the Muga on Friday completing our Daily Mile as well as doing some exercises & stretches!
Sketching a Pheasant! P1 discussed and then took time to sketch the pheasant in our classroom. This is very tricky for Primary 1 children as there are lots of details on the bird! Well done Primary 1!
P1 made birds using playdough and resources to create the wings, feet, eyes and beaks!
Painting birds!
This week we have intorduced our 'Bird' topic! The children have enjoyed discussing, looking at and creating different types of birds. We have created playdough birds & eggs as well as choosing and painting birds!
