We cannot believe that it is now the month of June; our last month in Nursery before the summer holidays, and what a busy month it is going to be! We will be exploring the exciting topics of Sealife and Summer as well as be taking part in many activities to help us prepare for our transition to Primary 1 in September! We also hope that there will be some more sunny weather so that we can enjoy our outdoor classroom, as well as our Sports Day!
We all enjoyed taking part in Sports Day! The boys and girls were super runners and participants in all of the activities on Sports Day; a very hot and sunny day! Following all of the activities on the MUGA pitch, the boys and girls enjoyed a picnic lunch with their parents and families, before receiving a special medal and a well deserved ice-cream! We hope that all of our parents and grandparents enjoyed Sports Day as much as we did!
We are very proud of our medals and certificates for Sports Day!
We are enjoying exploring our new topic of sealife and the seaside; learning the names of various sea creatures and talking about their special features, talking about past experiences of going to the beach and what we see and can do at the seaside, as well as learning how to keep safe at the seaside and in the sun!
We are getting to experience the lifecycle of a butterfly first-hand!
We are all enjoying watching our caterpillars grow and make a cocoon! We hope that by looking after them, they will all turn in to beautiful butterflies!
We were very excited to release our beautiful butterflies!
