We can’t quite believe that we are now in the month of June and that our Nursery year is nearly over! What a great year it has been!
This month we will be exploring the new season of Summer and our topics of Holidays, Seaside and Sealife through our play and community time learning! We will also be helping the children to prepare for their transition to Primary One and they will have opportunities to meet their new teachers, assistants and classmates and visit their new classrooms.
We are looking forward to our sports day this month, a special teddy bear trip and a picnic to Lurgan Park, as well as some special visitors. We also hope to enjoy lots of outdoor play and snack picnics outside in sunny and warmer weather!
Sports Day!
We had a wonderful Nursery Sports Day!
We all enjoyed participating in running races on the MUGA pitch! We all ran so fast! We then played games and used the sports equipment with our family members! We had so much fun!
We also enjoyed our ice creams and a special picnic lunch!

We brought our teddy bears to Lurgan Park for a walk, picnic, to feed the ducks and to play games! We had a very fun morning together!
We have been enjoying the sunny and warmer weather in Nursery!
We had a very fun visit from the PSNI!
Police Officers came to visit us in Nursery.
They talked to us about their job and how they are here to help us and to keep us safe.
We really enjoyed sitting inside the police car and police van! We watched the flashing lights and heard the loud sirens! We then got to try on some police uniform; vests, jackets and hats!
