Town Walk!
A trip from the Fire Engine! We had a surpise visit from the Fire Engine today! We got to see the blue flashing lights, we got to spray water out of the fire hose and look at (and even try on) some of the Fire fighter's uniform! We had so much fun & are very thankful that the firemen took time out of their busy schedule to show & tell us all about how they help us!
Spring Walk to the Park!
World Book Day! World Book day was a very busy day for us here in Primary 1. We brought our favourite book into school, we listened to a poem about World Book Day, we looked and laughed at all the silly/crazy places we read our favourite books, we shared our favourite book with a partner and then we shared it with our class, we searched for high frequency words in our friends books, we read books throughout the entire school day and we even made our very own book marks! We LOVE reading in our class and we had a fantastic day!
