May/June
Throughout the month of May we will be exploring the exciting topics of ‘Minibeasts’ and ‘Teddy Bears’!
We will be learning about minibeasts through our play indoors, our stories, songs and rhymes, and also through our play outdoors as we explore our Nursery garden with magnifying glasses and bug finders! I wonder what minibeasts we will find?
We hope to enjoy lots of outdoor play and hopefully warmer and sunnier weather this month! We will be providing opportunities for the children to develop their gross and fine motor skills, as well as preparing for Sports Day!
We look forward to our monthly visit from Jo Jingles and also taking part in the sponsored Mad Hair Day to raise money for some very important charities.
Throughout the month of June, we will enjoy exploring the topics of Holidays, Seaside, Sealife and Summer through our play and community time learning!
We will also be preparing the children for their transition to Primary 1!
