Our trip to Laganvale Farm!
VE Day celebrations!
A big thank you to Moutrays who provided treats for our tuck shop today! The children were very excited to be able to spend some of the money in their purses.
We have been learning all about the town. We really enjoyed our trip in Lurgan today to see what shops and vehicles we could find in the town! A big thanks to High Street Harvest and Clear Pharmacy for allowing us all to come in and see what they sold! A special thanks to Simon and Dowey's Butchers for cooking some sausages for us to try! They were delicious!
We loved having a visit from the Police today! They told us lots about what the do and how to keep safe. We even got to try on some of their uniform and see their car!
We have been using the floor and large apparatus to explore and practise balances on our own and with partners!
This week we have been exploring and enjoying the large gymnastics apparatus during our PE sessions!
This week have been investigating freezing and melting as part of our winter topic. We have had lots of fun discussing (and eating) ice pops, creating a class pictogram, and including frozen arctic animals in our play.
We have been enjoying playing outside in the cold weather this week and all the unique experiences it has given us!
Our first days in Primary 1!
We have been learning all about the number 3 this week. We have been reading the story of Goldilocks and the 3 Bears! We enjoyed making porridge and eating it when it was 'just right'!

This week we have been learning all about vegetables! We have been exploring and talking about vegetables, sorting them and making soup with them! We have also been drawing vegetables and reading lots of books and stories about vegetables!
