The King's Park boys football team entered the Armagh Banbridge & Craigavon area futsal tournament this month. This is the first time the tournament has taken place which is in association with the Irish FA. The main difference between futsal and traditional football is that the ball is heavier which emphasises foot skills during the game. The boys showcased an excellent attitude which translated into an excellent performance in all of their games, scoring 24 goals and conceding 0. They will now compete in the Northern Ireland finals next month. Congratulations to CALUM, FRASER, JOSHUA, DANIEL, CHRISTOPHER, JESSE and DYLAN.
The results were as follows:
KPS 6 - 0 Carrick
KPS 4 - 0 Tandragee
KPS 2 - 0 St Patrick's Armagh
SEMI FINAL
KPS 5 - 0 St John the Baptist
FINAL
KPS 7 - 0 Bridge Integrated
An excellent performance and attitude all round!
The boys will now compete in the National finals this April.
