The Fire and Rescue Service visit Nursery!
We really enjoyed a visit from the Fire and Rescue Service! One of the firemen talked to us about his special uniform and the very important job they do. We then got to use the hose which was a lot of fun, before getting to sit up in the big fire engine! We even got to see the lights flashing and hear the siren! It was so loud! Maybe one day some of us will be firefighters too!
Beth's mummy came in to Nursery to talk to us about her job as a physiotherapist!
We really enjoyed learning about the job of a physiotherapist. Beth's mummy brought in some of the equipment and apparatus that she uses with the boys and girls she works with. We got to try out some of the equipment which we really enjoyed! Thank you to Beth's mummy for coming in to Nursery as part of our People Who Help Us topic!
The Police visit Nursery!
We enjoyed having a visit from a Police Officer. She talked to us about keeping safe, not talking to strangers and what to do if we ever get lost. She also talked to us about her uniform and the special pieces of equipment she has to use in her job. We enjoyed trying on her police hat and using the handcuffs!
