In the month of October, the boys and girls in Nursery are going to be exploring the Topic of Autumn by recognising change in the world around them, with particular focus on colder weather, leaves changing colour and falling to the ground and some of the animals associated with Autumn. Our shape this month is rectangle and our colour is orange.
Loving the mud kitchen, playing with the trucks in the stones, having picnics and crawling through the tunnel!
The boys and girls were introduced to claves in music this month. They practiced keeping a steady beat and trying to play the claves in lots of different ways! Our favourite was using them as drumsticks on the floor!
Lots of Autumnal art activities for our topic this month. We have been drawing pumpkins using chalk, painting our own autumn trees, painting a variety of fruit and vegetables and using fruit and vegetable sponges!
