Welcome to Nursery 3!

Throughout the month of September and in to early October we will be exploring the topic of 'All About Me'. We will be learning to name parts of our body, find out their different functions, as well as take part in lots of different activities to do with our topic. We will focus on the shape 'circle' and the colour 'yellow'. We look forward to seeing what objects you can find for our colour and shape tables!

Our First Days in Nursery!

We are all settling well in to Nursery! We have been very busy learning new routines and visiting play areas in each of the 3 Nursery classrooms, as well as outdoors! We look forward to making new friends in Nursery this year and learning through our play!

Look at our handprints!

We have been having lots of fun painting our hands to make our handprints! We are learning about our hands; counting our fingers, talking about what our hands can be used for and learning how we are to have kind hands in Nursery.

We made our footprints!

We have been learning about our feet in Nursery! We enjoyed using talc to make our footprints!

Paper plate faces and self-portraits!

We have been learning about our bodies in Nursery! We are learning to name our facial features and we have been talking about the special jobs they do. We enjoyed looking in to mirrors and making paper plate faces and self-portraits! We are realising that even though we all look different, we are all special!
