Well done to both King’s Park Futsal teams who competed in the ABC Area IFA Tournament. The boys and girls had a great day with the girls finishing as runners-up in a tight final.
What a Wonderful Willow
Our wonderful eco team worked with Lough Neagh in January to erect a willow dome in the school grounds
Great fun was had by everyone and I’m sure you can agree that the willow dome is a welcome addition to our outdoor learning areas

We have received the following from the Education Authority:
ADVICE ON THE POST-PRIMARY TRANSFER PROCESS FOR PARENTS OF CHILDREN IN P6
As has been the practice over the last number of years the Department of Education has produced a document providing advice to parents of children in P6 on the post-primary transfer process. The purpose of this document is to ensure that parents receive timely information about the range of issues they need to take into account when making important decisions about the next stage in their child’s education.
Previously a hard copy would have been provided for parents in January of their child’s P6 year however this year the document will be available in electronic form only.
The document is available to download from the Department’s website at the following link:
In Primary 7 we have been awarding ambassador badges to children who always set an example to their peers. It is a very difficult task for the teachers to choose someone each month as we are very fortunate to have many boys and girls who could be awarded this prize. They reflect all the characteristics we want to see in our Primary 7 children: wearing full school uniform each day, using good manners, trying their best in all activities, completing homework, being helpful, kind and sharing with others, excellent behaviour and honesty. We are very proud of them and we look forward to awarding more badges in the coming months. The picture below shows the ambassadors we currently have. Well done everyone!!
