Friday 2nd December is the official date for ‘Daily Mile Santa Run’. At King’s Park Primary School we have championed the ‘Daily Mile’ for quite a few years and all the positive benefits it brings. Everyone at King’s Park is going to walk or run the mile on this date. The children may wear an item of Christmas clothing or even a Santa hat! Look out for information from your class teacher on Dojo. No contribution is required.
Thank you to the PSNI for visiting our Primary 5, 6 and 7 classes to explain the importance of creating a kinder school experience as part of anti-bullying week.
We all have a responsibility to stand up and speak out

BOYS' HOCKEY
A great first outing for Kings Park boys’ hockey teams at the Ulster Hockey Blitz at Edenvilla, Portadown on Monday 24th October. The ‘A’ team had a fantastic tournament and remained undefeated, winning three matches, and drawing two. With special mention going to Brodie Hull who scored 10 goals and Bobby Gardiner scoring 9. In their five matches the boys scored 21 goals and only conceded one! The ‘B’ team had an enjoyable afternoon and got plenty of pitch time to work on their skills. A big well done to all the boys who played!
GIRLS' HOCKEY
A great first outing for Kings Park girls hockey teams at the Ulster Hockey Blitz at Portadown on Tuesday 25th October. The girls had plenty of pitch time to develop their skills against other local schools. Goals came from Mia Gault, Sadie Moorhead, Sarah McClughan, Lucia McMullan, Daisy Gordon, Bella McMullan, Ruby Cousins and Chloe Wilson. Special mention to Aimee Mackay on her goal keeping debut. Well done to you all. Thanks to Ulster Hockey for a great day out!
