Parent/Teacher Telephone Interviews – Autumn 2020
12 November 2020
Dear Parent/Carer,
This term we are planning to carry out our parent/teacher interviews by telephone. These will be arranged with parents/carers through the class dojo link.
During next Monday 16th, Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th November if you wish to have a telephone meeting with your child’s class teacher please contact him/her by dojo indicating that you wish to have a telephone interview set up. Each teacher will then contact you, again by dojo to arrange a date and time when he/she will call you on your phone.
The interview will be limited in time and will take place on 23rd, 24th and 25th November from 2.30 to 3.30pm and from 2.00 to 3.30pm on Thursday 26th November.
Yours sincerely

Covid-19 Update
I would like to begin by thanking parents/carers for practicing social distancing and wearing face masks whilst in and around the school grounds.
It has been decided that from Monday 9th November children may now bring into school small school bags, rather than plastic bags with their school work.

Dear Parent,
As you are aware, the school nursing teams are visiting schools delivering the childhood flu programme. If your child has already received the flu vaccine with their GP, please can you contact your school nursing team as soon as possible on this number 02837567249 or 02837561023 to avoid an unnecessary 2nd dose of this vaccine.
Please note the flu vaccine is only administered to P1 to P7 pupils in the school setting.

15 October
Dear Parent/Carer,
As you are aware the Executive announced yesterday that schools would have the half term holiday extended to two weeks. This means the school will be closed for all pupils from Monday 19th until 30th October and will reopen on Monday 2nd November.
The Department of Education is asking schools to use two of their school holidays from the year and three additional exceptional closure days to make up the additional week at half term. We will therefore be revising our holiday list to reflect this and will inform you of the changes as soon as possible.
As the next two weeks will be a holiday for pupils there will be no home schooling or workpacks etc sent home and teachers will not be communicating with parents via the class dojo.
Parents are asked not to use the class dojo to contact teachers during the half term break.
If you need to contact the school urgently you can use the school website or if your child/ren test/s positive for covid please contact the school on the out of hours contact number as soon as possible: 07783 300575.
We wish you all an enjoyable half term break and most importantly a safe one.
Sincerely
T Shields
IMPORTANT MESSAGE
The current school opening and closing times will REMAIN THE SAME for the month of November for all year groups.
This will be reviewed again towards the end of November.
