Boys’ Hockey League Champions!
Congratulations to the boys’ hockey team who won their league title yesterday.
The boys had qualified for the League Finals by topping their qualifying group. In the Finals we had to play Markethill and Seagoe.
We drew 1-1 with Markethill and beat Seagoe 3-0.
This meant that we finished with 4 points, Markethill 2 points and Seagoe 1 point.
An excellent achievement by the boys and the perfect way to prepare for the NI Finals on Monday 8th April.
The team would also like to pass on their thanks to ‘Mbroidery’, who have very kindly sponsored them and have provided the team with a fantastic new kit!
Team: Charlie Gault, Charlie Stone, Peter, Oliver, Jack, Harry, Daniel, Aaron, Alfie and Austen
King’s Park Primary and Nursery School is participating in a Sustrans event called “The Big Pedal”.
As a school we are working towards our green ECO FLAG. As part of this we are taking part in ‘The Big Pedal’ which starts on Monday 25th March and continues for two weeks finishing on Friday 5th April. We are encouraging children to walk, cycle or scoot to school safely with appropriate adult supervision. If you live further from school perhaps you could cycle, scoot or walk the last part of your journey. We would greatly appreciate any participation in the above event.
Each parent is responsible for the safety of their child/ren coming to and going home from school.
Nursery to Primary 7
Closing Date Monday 8th April at 9.00am
This year our Easter Competition asks our children to design something that can be worn – it may be a hat or bonnet or a shoe or brooch or necklace or scarf or whatever. The more unusual and creative the better!
As usual children are permitted to have assistance from family and friends so that the competition can be a family project.
There will be an Easter Egg presented to 3 winners from each class throughout the school and a larger egg plus a £10 token for each overall winner in Nursery, Foundation Stage (P1 & P2), Key Stage I (P3 & P4), and Key Stage II (P5, 6 & 7).
The one overall school winner will receive a KING SIZE Easter Egg plus a £20 token. All other entrants will get a cream egg.
All entries are to be brought to the Assembly Hall and placed on the Class Table before school begins on MONDAY 8TH APRIL. Parents and friends are invited to view entries between 12.00 noon and 3.30pm on Monday 8th April in the Assembly Hall.
Winning entries will also be displayed in the school reception area on Tuesday 9th through to Thursday 11th April for parents and friends to view.
