Measuring capacity

Get an adult to help you with this. Find a cup, a jug, an empty jar and a small saucepan. Stand at the sink to do this exercise.

  1. Fill the saucepan with cold water. Get the cup. How many times do you think you can fill the cup with the water from the saucepan? Estimate first. Then measure.
