Shoulder Strength

Shoulder strength is important for activities which require arm/hand movements such as cutting, climbing, colouring, throwing and handwriting. Controlled arm actions are only possible when the core muscles work together to provide a strong and stabilized foundation.

Signs of shoulder weakness:

  1. Tiring easily or wanting to avoid completing fine motor activities
  2. Tiring easily or wanting to avoid playing ball games and P.E activities
  3. Giving up easily or avoiding completing colouring or written work
