Happy New Year!
This month in Nursery we will be exploring the exciting topic of Birds. We will be learning to identify common garden birds, as well as talk about their body parts and learn more about them; what they like to eat and where they live. We will also be learning more about how we can look after birds in our gardens.
We hope to have a visit from Oxford Island staff as part of our topic too! We will also be making our own binoculars and go bird watching around our school grounds!
This month we will be focusing on the colours, grey and white, and the shape, semi-circle! Can you find any objects of these colours or shape around your home or outside?
We are learning about birds through our play!
We made binoculars in Nursery and then we enjoyed birdwatching outside! We saw some of the garden birds that we have been learning about!
We are enjoying playing outdoors!
