Mathematical Language
Tall and short!
Children in nursery need to use and understand the mathematical language of tall and short. This could be displayed through a variety of play ideas including looking at items in your environment. When going on your daily walk, you can challenge your child to find something tall and something short. Or you can play eye spy by telling them it is something tall and it begins with the letter ‘T’….for tree!
