November

This month in Nursery we will be exploring the theme of Wild Animals. We will be learning about animals that live in the jungle and in the zoo through our play and in our Community Time learning. We will learn their names and talk about their bodies; the colours on their coats, if they have patterns or special markings, as well as learn about where they live and what they like to eat. We hope to enjoy listening to stories about animals and sing lots of songs about animals too!

Through our play activities, we will also be developing our pre-writing skills, scissor skills, counting skills, as well as naming shapes!

Outdoors, we will be continuing to develop the skill of pedalling, as well as learning to independently put on and take off our coats!

We have really enjoyed dressing up as our favourite wild animal!

Oxford Island came to help us make Bug Hotels for our outdoor Nursery area. We found lots of bugs outside too!

Jo Jingles came to visit us this month! We all joined in with the songs and we were using musical instruments too! It was brilliant!
