EARLY CLOSING TIMES  for week of 16^th-20^th June

To Facilitate Parent/Teacher Interviews and other important events this week children from Primary One to Primary Seven will go home early ALL WEEK as follows:

• Pupils with surnames from P-Z will finish at 1.15 pm
• Pupils with surnames from A-H will finish at 1.25 pm
• Pupils with surnames from I-O will finish at 1.30 pm
• (If there are siblings with different surnames then the oldest pupil leaves first according to their surname and younger siblings may leave at the same time.)
•  *** NURSERY PUPILS SHOULD BE COLLECTED BETWEEN 12.20-12.35PM FOR THE WHOLE WEEK OF 16^TH-20^TH JUNE.***

School returns on Thursday 28^th August 2025 for Primary 2 - Primary 7

Nursery and Primary 1 will be given their own start date.

Five additional staff training days have been agreed.  School will be closed for children on 9^th and 10^th February, 17^th March, 22^nd and 25^th May.

Each half term, one child from each class is chosen for this special recognition, and we are thrilled to celebrate the kindness and compassion they show towards others.

We are proud of all our pupils for their efforts in creating a positive and caring school community.  These children have gone above and beyond in showing kindness to their peers and making a difference in their classrooms.  Keep up the great work everyone!   

We had a visit from Sara and David from the B Positive charity.
They told the children all about their amazing charity, the brilliant suitcases they have created and what they do to help so many families.
All the children got a wrist band and pencil to take home. Sponsor forms are also sent home and we can’t wait for our Pyjama Day!

Congratulations to the boys football teams who finished first and second in their Mid-Ulster Schools’ 5 a side group last week!

Two weeks ago, the cross country team raced at Palace Stables . The girls retained their Southern Area Championship with Hannah winning her race . Mikolaj led the boys to 3rd place overall and both teams qualified for the finals . The finals are on February 28th at Mallusk Playing Fields!
