RE SCHOOL CLOSURE FRIDAY 24TH JANUARY DUE TO EXTREME WEATHER

    Dear Parent/Carer,

We have just been informed that due to anticipated severe weather conditions, all schools in Northern Ireland are required to close tomorrow, Friday 24 January 2025.

The Met Office has issued a red alert, which covers all of Northern Ireland, and will apply from 7am on Friday until 2pm. This warns of "very dangerous conditions" and "widespread disruption".

King's Park Primary and Nursery School will therefore be CLOSED TOMORROW ( FRIDAY) FOR ALL PUPILS AND STAFF.

Please take care tomorrow and stay safe.

    Sincerely

    H Brown

The Cross Country teams had a fantastic day at Lurgan Park! Ethan finished 2nd in the boys’ fun run, with Joshua leading the P5 boys. Jolie placed 2nd and Charlotte 3rd in her first-ever race! In the girls' team race, Hannah took 1st out of 136 runners and the team placed 3rd overall . Mikolaj led the boys’ race, winning and finishing as the fastest out of 148 boys , helping the boys’ team secure 2nd place.

Great job to all the runners and parents for their hard work—everyone earned a well-deserved hot chocolate!
