Topics, Season, Colour and Shape
Throughout the Month of May in Nursery, we will be exploring the topics of:
Spring, Minibeasts and Teddy Bears
You can continue to explore Springtime at home; spring flowers and the weather. But we will also be learning about minibeasts! You can learn their names, become an insect by completing an insect dance and explore insect body shapes and number of legs through Art! You can also hunt for minibeasts in your garden or even build a bug hotel!
Some Key Vocabulary:
Caterpillar, butterfly, worm, bee, ladybird, spider, beetle
Colour Hunt!
Go on a colour hunt with your child to find as many BLACK items as you can around your home.
Shape Hunt!
Go on a shape hunt with your child to find as many TRIANGLES as you can around the home!
