Throughout the month of May we will be exploring the exciting topics of ‘Minibeasts’ and ‘Teddy Bears’!
We will be learning about minibeasts through our play indoors, our stories, songs and rhymes, and also through our play outdoors as we explore the minibeast hotel with magnifying glasses and bug finders and also when gardening! I wonder what minibeasts we will find?
We hope to enjoy lots of outdoor play and hopefully warmer and sunnier weather this month! We will be providing opportunities for the children to develop their gross and fine motor skills, as well as preparing for Sports Day!
We look forward to our monthly visit from Jo Jingles and also taking part in the sponsored Dance-a-thon to raise money for some very important charities.

We have been learning about the lifecycle of a frog 🐸
We have enjoyed learning about the lifecycle of a frog through our stories, songs and jigsaw puzzles! We also got to see some baby tadpoles, and then a week later see them again with their new back legs! It was so exciting to see how they had grown!
We are learning through our play outdoors!
