Welcome to latest news
The children of King’s Park P.S, as part of their charities this year, raised £400 for the Royal British Legion and £400 for the RNLI. The money was raised through a Sponsored walk entitled “Mad Hair Day” in the park.
Pictured receiving a cheque on behalf of the RNLI is Mr Brian Cassells and school principal Mr Shields. P7 pupils presented the cheque during a school assembly.
On Friday we were very lucky to have a visit from the Tharps for the 36th year. Despite feeling unwell and cancelling all their other appearances they made a special exception for the King's Park pupils.
Thank you Tharps!

The children’s book leaflet shows a selection of titles available.
Each class will be timetabled to visit the Book Fair but parents are encouraged to view the books with their children. The fair will be open each morning from 8.30 to 9.00 am and again in the afternoons from 3.00 to 3.45 pm. On Thursday 12th November school will be open from 6.30 to 7.45 pm for parents to visit the Book Fair with their children.
Only use the order form below if you can’t visit the Book Fair or if the book you want is out of stock when you visit the fair. In this case please give the completed order form and money to your child’s teacher or the teacher on duty at the Book Fair. The money and order form should only be brought in to school during Book Fair week (11th- 17th November).
