Welcome to latest news
With the cost of living crisis impacting families across Northern Ireland, PlayBoard has developed a new resource highlighting a range of low-cost play ideas.
Play is central to children’s physical, mental, and emotional well-being. All children have a natural urge to play and that need will remain, even during times of economic hardship. Play activity does not need to be expensive or involve costly toys and gadgets - there are many ‘free and found’ play opportunities that already exist within our schools and other settings.
Play in times of hardship has practical play ideas and activities which can be enjoyed at little or no cost. https://bit.ly/playintimesofhardship
We would like to say a really BIG THANK YOU to all our parents and friends for the generous number of toys received for this Annual Family Appeal. The toys were accepted by the Salvation Army on Tuesday 6th December.
Friday 2nd December is the official date for ‘Daily Mile Santa Run’. At King’s Park Primary School we have championed the ‘Daily Mile’ for quite a few years and all the positive benefits it brings. Everyone at King’s Park is going to walk or run the mile on this date. The children may wear an item of Christmas clothing or even a Santa hat! Look out for information from your class teacher on Dojo. No contribution is required.
Thank you to the PSNI for visiting our Primary 5, 6 and 7 classes to explain the importance of creating a kinder school experience as part of anti-bullying week.
We all have a responsibility to stand up and speak out
