Emma McGrath and Tegan Cassells cover Riptide by Vance Joy
The first round of the Flahavans' Cross country league was held in Lurgan Park on Friday 6th October.
The girls'team ran out winners coming first out of 23 teams and the Boys' team were narrowly beaten into second place out of 23 teams, by a single point.
Again, both teams will be in contention this year and will be training hard for the next round of the league on December 1st in Armagh.
Special congratulations must go to Joel Todd who won the boys' race and to Ellie Cousins, Kate Holmes and Kayleigh Brown who came 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively in the girls' race.
In the individual race congratulations must go to Peter McCluggan who came a comfortable first and to Caleb M<yers and Sufyan Latif who came second and third respectively. Also to Leah Balfour who came third in the girls' individual race.

Tonight - Women's World Cup Qualifier
Northern Ireland v Republic of Ireland
The Northern Ireland Senior Women's team face the Republic of Ireland tonight (Tuesday) at Mourneview Park in Lurgan. Kick-off is at 7.30pm.
Entrance to the match is free of charge and captain Marissa. Callaghan has urged fans to get out and support the team (see below). There will be a pre-match fanzone from 5.30pm with fun for all the family so why not come down early?!
You can follow the team’s progress on the Northern Ireland social media channels and the match will be live on the BBC Red Button and BBC Sport website.
