    Celebrating the incredible achievement of our hockey girls, who are the Mid Ulster league winners for the second year running! It's a testament to their hard work, teamwork, and dedication.

  • Boys' Hockey Team

    Congratulations to the boys' hockey team on winning their section of the Mid-Ulster Hockey League!  The boys had to play three tough matches, but managed to win them all.  They are now looking forward to finding out who they have to play in the league finals.  An excellent achievement from everyone.  Special mention must go to our captain Harry who scored 6 incredible goals!

  • Cross Country

    King's Park Cross Country Teams took part in the Northern Ireland Finals on Friday 23rd February. The finals consist of races between the top 20 qualifying teams in Northern Ireland.

     

    The Girls’ team ran out Northern Ireland Champions again, by a large margin, with the girls securing 2nd, 9th, 21st and 26th places. The team was Lucia McMullen, Hannah Mooney, Bella McMullen, Connie Kinkead, Maisie-Jane Brown and Poppy Cloughley. Congratulations to Lucia McMullen who was narrowly beaten into 2nd place and to Hannah Mooney who came 9th. Quite an achievement.

     

    The Boys' team ran into a very acceptable 4th Place in Northern Ireland. The team was Mikolaj Matyjas, Zack McComb, Noah Myers, Noah Cherry, Theo Armstrong and Sam Brown.

  • Tri Sport Event

    Congratulations to the King’s Park football team and girls hockey team for dominating their tournaments at the Tri-sport event hosted by Lurgan College! In challenging conditions, the boys triumphed through the group stage, secured a 2-1 victory against Waringstown in the semi-final, and clinched a thrilling 2-1 win against Maralin in the final to maintain their unbeaten streak!

    The girls showcased exceptional skills, playing 12 matches with a 100% success rate and zero goals conceded! They emerged victorious in the final against Waringstown, sealing their triumph on the hockey field.

    Shoutout to the rugby team, marking their debut with a fantastic performance at the tournament – a promising start for the future!

  • Boys' Hockey

    The boys' hockey team had a great day at the Portadown Times tournament! They played brilliantly, winning 4 matches, drawing one, and losing one.

    Ended up second, just narrowly missing first place on goal difference!

    Huge shoutout to Harry, our top scorer with an impressive 7 goals. Amazing effort from the whole team!

    On Friday 1st December King's Park took part in the Daily Mile Santa Run, all while wearing a Christmassy item!

     

    Outdoor physical activity holds great significance at our school and every class had a great time completing laps on our MUGA, around the school and in Lurgan Park.

    Congratulations to the King's Park football teams who both went undefeated and won their groups on Friday 24th in the Mid Ulster Schools competition.

     

     

  • Cross Country

    Boys’ Team,  Girls’ Team and Fun Runners attended a competition at Portadown College on Friday 17th November.

     

    Both Boys’ and Girls’ teams won their races and King’s Park won overall top school.

    Congratulations to Lucia McMullen 1st place, Bella McMullen 2nd place, Hannah Mooney 3rd place and Connie Kinkead 6th place in the Girls’ race and to Mikolaj Matyjas 3rd place and Noah Myers 6th place in the Boys’ race. Also, to Jenson Dodson and Henry Foster who came second and 3rd in the Fun Run respectively.

     

    Round 2 of the Flahavans’ League will be held on Friday 1st December in Lurgan Park. Racing starts at 11am.
